Head of the family business, Phil has 38 years experience in the travel industry. He recently received 3 lifetime achievement awards & has a huge passion for customer care!

Amanda Taylor
Business Development Manager & Landbased Comercial
Amanda supports our new and existing business owners with marketing and networking opportunities.
With a career in travel home-working since 1997, Amanda brings a wealth of experience to the role.

Leah Ormerwood
Business Development Manager & Support
Leah has always had a passion for travel. She has previously worked at Gold Medal, having expertise in Australia, Japan and South East Asia. She will play a vital part in getting new starters up and running, supporting them through their new venture and bringing new opportunities to the business

Richard Cross
Group Commercial Manager
Richard has been in the travel industry, since 2008, specialising in cruise holidays. He has been on over 45 cruises across a variety of lines and is our Group Commercial Manager.

Susan Forsdike
Group Sales Support Manager
Over 32 years in the Travel Industry working for the family business. Susan enjoys helping our dedicated team of Travel Experts and pride herself on customer service. Recently nominated as Support Agent of the Year at the 2022 AAA Awards.

Jenny Higgins
Group Marketing Manager
Jenny joined The Holiday Village in 2021 straight from university, quickly rising to lead our marketing team. She creates campaigns, toolkits, and content that drive results. In 2025, Jenny was named one of TTG’s 30 Under 30 and proudly serves as our Sustainability Ambassador.

Layna Mcmoran
Marketing Executive
Layna helps business owners with all things marketing, including social media, email, print and beyond. From the offset she creates a strategic marketing plan to boost visibility, engage customers, and drive growth. She also shares great tips and offers, always keeping an eye on trending and top-selling holidays to keep marketing fresh and effective.

Carol has been with the company for over 20 years. She is a fully qualified in finance and accounting.

Karen Hodgin

Karen has previous experience working for M&S, Co-Operative Travel and Thomas Cook. She has over 22 years experience in travel and customer care management management, and heads up our care team of 15.
