I’ve just come back from a stay at Liberty Fabay in Fethiye, and I can honestly say: this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It ticked every single box – and then some. If you’re considering it for your next holiday, here’s everything you need to know (and why I’d return in a heartbeat).
First Impressions: Wow Factor
From the moment we arrived, the quality of the hotel stood out. The rooms, restaurants, and overall design were exceptional. Whether you’re a family, a couple, or a group of friends, this place knows how to cater to everyone and does it with style.
Family Heaven: Facilities for All Ages
One of the biggest standouts for me was how well Liberty Fabay caters to families. The kids’ club was hands down the best I’ve ever seen – well-organised, colourful, and actually engaging. For older children (8+), there’s a dedicated youth club that runs day and night, giving them a sense of independence while staying close to the action.
There’s a gorgeous, palm-lined “street” that runs through the resort, lined with à la carte restaurants and boutique shops – like a little town within the hotel.
While the hotel has plenty of fantastic family-friendly spaces, the adult-only areas feel like a real bonus. There’s an exclusive buffet, bar, and nightclub just for grown-ups, plus a dedicated adults-only pool with its own bar and unique, laid-back vibe. It all feels like a special escape – yet you’re still right in the heart of the action, just moments from the main restaurants, bars, and beach.
Food, Glorious Food
You’ll never go hungry here. The food options are genuinely impressive:
- 24/7 patisserie serving amazing cakes, iced coffees, toasties, and even soup for night owls.
- Four lunch venues – from casual dining to buffet and à la carte. All were excellent.
- Numerous à la carte restaurants (booking was super easy).
- Branded ice creams and soft drinks available to help yourself – a small touch, but one that made a big difference.
And the quality? Top tier. The food and drink across the board were consistently excellent.
Pools, Bars & Entertainment Galore
With nine pools (yes, nine!), multiple bars, and evening entertainment happening across three venues every night (beach bar, main bar, and main show bar), the energy was just right – enough to keep things exciting without ever feeling overwhelming.
There’s also a gorgeous beach. While it’s slightly pebbly as you first enter the water, the soft sand just beyond that is lovely underfoot.
Thoughtful Touches for Families
One thing I absolutely loved: the free cabanas set just back from the beach, complete with sandpits for little ones. They’re shaded, comfy, and let families relax close to the sea without paying extra.
Want a bit more luxury? You can reserve beachfront cabanas with 10am to 6pm butler service for an added cost – perfect for a special treat.

We booked a private transfer via Miramar Boss and it was spot on. The car had a fridge full of soft drinks, free WiFi, and even a TV – a little luxury that made the journey fly by. Our EasyJet flight ran like clockwork, and Dalaman Airport was smooth and easy.
Unmissable Day Out
If you’re looking to get off-resort for a bit, I highly recommend Animal Excursions. It’s ideal for families, friends, or couples wanting a fun, adventurous day out. Our day included:
- Sand buggy driving
- Floating down a crystal-clear mountain stream
- A mud bath
- Standing under a stunning waterfall
- It was a day of firsts for our family, full of laughs and unforgettable moments.
Final Thoughts
What really made Liberty Fabay special wasn’t just the setting or the facilities – it was the staff and the atmosphere. Every single person we met, staff and guests alike, was friendly and welcoming. The staff were amazing with kids and truly seemed to enjoy what they do.
All week long, I didn’t hear a single complaint from anyone – and we spoke to many returning guests, which says a lot.
