Having worked in the travel and leisure industry for over 32 years, I enjoy getting to know my clients and tailoring holidays to suit their individual needs. My career started in hospitality with a four-star international hotel chain before I moved on to a well-known travel agency where I won an award for Northern Division Employee of the Year.

For the last 18 years, I have been a travel adviser and am now part of The Holiday Village, which belongs to the Travel Village Group, an award-winning four-generation family business trading since 1959. Working from home not only means I get to spend more time with my family, it also allows me to be there for my customers outside of the usual 9-to-5 hours, seven days a week.

My love affair with Travel began when I was a young backpacker. I had loads of adventures exploring the world for two years, one of which was entirely in Australia. Since then, I have also been to other fantastic destinations, such as regions in the Far East (Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Cambodia, to name a few!), New Zealand, Fiji, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Canada, USA, Dubai, and Egypt. However, my passion is wildlife expeditions, and I will never forget Mountain Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking in Uganda, along with the incredible trips around South Africa and Kenya. No surprise that my speciality is in long-haul bespoke holidays!

Cruising is also a great love of mine. I have been lucky enough to revel in the sea air aboard Carnival Cruise Lines and MSC on some European itineraries, as well as voyages to the Caribbean with NCL. Other sailings I have experienced include Royal Caribbean, Fred Olsen, Holland America and P&O, gaining me good knowledge of many different cruise lines and what they have to offer my clients.

My vast travel experience puts me in a good position to give you invaluable advice and recommendations, whilst my background in hospitality ensures that you will consistently receive a high level of customer service. You can leave everything with me – from planning your personal itinerary to arranging all those additional details such as car parking, car hire, excursions, insurance, and more. I have even organised many weddings and honeymoons for those who have something extra special to celebrate.
